Aluminum alloy automotive parts are mainly formed using two molding techniques: casting and extrusion, depending on the type. The casting process uses pressure to rapidly press aluminum alloy liquid into a precision metal mold cavity, and the liquid cools and solidifies under pressure to form a casting. The extrusion process is to apply strong pressure to the metal billet placed in the mold cavity, forcing it to undergo directional plastic deformation and extrude it from the die hole of the extrusion die, thereby obtaining the required cross-sectional shape, size, and mechanical properties of the component. The production process adopts extrusion molding technology, mainly applied to automotive structural components.
